PART A
After leaning about these men and women living through the great depression, i realize how tough it was for a normal life back then. They were put through long hours of work, and were sometimes tested by there bosses with money in some situations. It really shows how hard a person had to work to earn a living, and keep there lives in good shape. It seems unfair for a person to get paid so little for a large amount of work, but i guess thats what was necessary to stay alive.

PART B?

Southern Paper Mills Black, Male, late thirties, Magazine Point, Alabama
Week ending November 23, 1938
Helen S. Hartley

While reading this interview, I thought of this man as someone with a passion for fishing. His house acted as his boat, and he had found tranquility. He did not depend on fishing as a career so he still worked his job at the Southern Paper Mills. I was surprised that this man could keep his job, and his dream to his satisfaction. He completed his life and was happy.
